10/10 Super holiday, would recommend for sure!! - Alan, Wiltshire
Lovely property with beautiful views. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location in the New Forest National Park with walks from the house and wild ponies and donkeys wandering around the neighbourhood.
Absolutely perfect for a family get away. Peaceful and great access to walks on the moors. Donkeys, horses, cows and even the odd dear and pig. Well resourced cottage. All needs catered for.
A very nice large house perfect for a big family holiday or friends get-together. The views from all rooms and garden are fantastic we had the best of Autumn colours. An off-road but not too serious cycle ride across The New Forest starts at the bottom of the road and can take you past (or into) some great pubs. The local - Forrester's Arms is just a walk up the road. Friendly staff served us excellent beer with traditional and very good food. A Tour of nearby Ringwood Brewery is highly recommended but make sure you have a 'designated' driver
Fantastic place to stay, herd of deer wandering through every morning, views of cows and ponies on the moor.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house, views from every bedroom, a comfortable large dining area to accommodate the 10 people staying there, a fully equipped kitchen and stunning gardens. Beautiful walks from the house to local excellent pubs. Highly recommend.
Had the best time at Valley View. The house is beautiful and in a stunning location. Very thoughtful of the owner to leave some milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine.
Valley View is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest pub. The Foresters. It's a good spot, donkey's rest up outside, food is good, beer local and cold! Don't miss it. There are plenty of other foodie places locally, mostly pubs and all with a good reputation.
The North of the New Forest, (that’s everywhere above Lyndhurst…) is wild and beautiful.
It is widely regarded as the wildest part of the National Park. There are fewer roads and even fewer boundary markers which makes for big views and bigger skies.
